Dr. Sampson has over 15 years experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Through her education and post-graduate training, she has developed a deep understanding how the brain, emotions, and learning are connected and impact our life experience. With a background in psychotherapy, she is able to integrate therapy skills into her evaluations for a compassionate and comprehensive approach to client care. She has been evaluating preschoolers for a decade, collaborating with speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists to gain diverse insights into children's needs. Dr. Sampson is dedicated to early intervention and helping individuals of various abilities and developmental differences develop to their full potential. Additionally, she has specialized experience working with young adults in college settings as well as providing support and evaluation for families in community based mental health and in-home settings. Dr. Sampson is also a parent and her own child has been one of her greatest teachers when it comes to understanding the wonders, joys, and complexities of childhood development.
